b. it is the be-all end-all of tommy's characterization, because it's all the characterization he has! he's barely in any other episodes! we care about the main characters because a part of their Main Character Arcs is working on themselves and their flaws. tommy is half of a recurring character! he doesn't matter! y'all will go to hell and back defending this random failed guest character who is, by all accounts in the show, not a very good person, and honestly, it makes you look a little silly.

I’m gonna start talking about all the characters this way. Hen cheated on Karen in 2018 idk if they should be adopting kids together :/ Buck should definitely never be with Eddie because of his womanizing past, and for that matter if they got together what if Eddie fucked off to join the army? You know, we never got him disavowing the actions of the US military on screen. Bobby could relapse and kill the whole Grant family so I just really don’t feel comfortable with bathena :(:(
